Farm Girl Cafe is without a doubt one of my favourite restaurants in London. This Australian inspired cafe is located in an adorable courtyard tucked away among the streets of Notting Hill. Notting Hill is actually my favourite part of London, so just the journey to and from the venue is a joy in itself. There’s something magical about strolling along the rows of pastel coloured houses and through the bustling market streets that just transports me to the set of a rom-com (though just missing a bit of Hugh Grant…).
Being of a modest size and with it’s now well-known reputation among the fitness community, there is often a que on weekends. However, the wait is definitely worth it, literally every meal that I’ve tried here has been delicious.
They have all my favourite classic brunch options, including avocado toast, which is done with lemon juice, black pepper, coriander and a sprinkle of pomegranate, as well as poached eggs on toasted sourdough, which I enjoyed with a side of smoked salmon.
They also have more unusual combinations, such as the Coconut BLT, consisting of coconut bacon, sliced beef tomatoes, guacamole and homemade cashew cream.
They even have a delicious selection of drinks, both hot and cold. The rose lattes, adorned with delicate pink rose petals, are the most beautiful coffees in London in my opinion, literally everyone who ordered one couldn’t resist getting a picture! Another coffee, albeit marginally less photogenic, but equally delicious, has to be the matcha latte; my go to drink.
I’ll definitely be frequenting Farm Girl again soon, as there’s so much on the menu I still need to try. Next on my list is undoubtedly the homemade buckwheat pancakes with amber maple syrup, fresh berries and coconut shavings!
